How to get your motorbike ready for courier transport
Step 1
Give the bike (or bikes) a good wash and polish, then take photos of its condition for comparison upon arrival.
Step 2
Empty the fuel tank to around a quarter full to reduce excess weight and spill risks. If your bike has any issues, such as oil or coolant leaks, make sure you let your courier know.
Step 3
Remove any luggage and accessories, including tank bags, clip-on mirrors, panniers, phone mounts and GPS units. Check that the tyres are properly inflated so it’s easy to roll on and off the truck.
